The Sweet Hereafter June 27, 2006: Loves its maple syrup, loves its Tim Hortons, but more than anything, loves its music, eh

Quick message. It's Canada Day this Saturday so the Sweet Hereafter is going CanCon silly today. We will stare down the 35% canadian content minimum set by the CRTC and scoff at its inate puniness.

See you in a bit,

The Sweet Hereafter June 20, 2006: You might actually learn something from this show this week

    Hi everyone,

The music love-in that is known as NXNE was happening in T.O. two weeks ago where around 400 bands got to display their skills in front of fans and movers and shakers of the biz. On today's show, I've invited members of Infotourist will drop by the station to talk to us about their time at NXNE. They will give us the perspective of one of being one of the invited bands and some insights on the other side of the music business that casual music fans like you and I just don't have.

Hope you can tune in (or download the podcast),

The Sweet Hereafter June 13, 2006: May not be walking the aisle anytime soon but wants to make sure that you can make the party happen

    Hey superstars,

Last weekend marked the beginning of the wedding season for me as my cousin got married in Montreal. This year is kinda slow as I'll only be Djing two weddings but while we're on the subject, I thought I'd offer up some tips today for DJing weddings in case you wanted to DJ your own wedding or that of a friend.

Next week: Secrets to being a wedding singer (just kidding. I'd never give those secrets away).

See you in just a bit.
